First bike session
Hello bloggers,
Today we had our first bike session we learnt to balance ,speed ,and ride a bike it was kind of hard but I did not give up I tried my best and now I know how to ride a bike. What I found challenging is when I had to balance on the bike it was hard cause when you sit on the bike it was hardest part to do.
I enjoyed riding the bike and also learning about safety rules when i'm on a bike cause if you don't know the rules you'll hurt yourself. I am excited and scared to go back to the bike session tomorrow because I get to learn to ride a bike so I can get better at it. Loni and Jason Is The one taught us all the cool things to ride a bike.

Wonder Project
Bula Vanka bloggers,
In the senior school we have been learning about rockets and Newtons Law motion. We have learnt about how to be safe so you don't get hurt when you launch a rockets. Here is some important rules when you launch a rocket: do not go close to a rocket when it launches,do not pump over 60 and lastly please wear safety gears when you launch.
When we launched the rocket it did not go that high but it went further. We built a rocket out of card board, soft drink bottles and tape. We also learnt about the mass and gravity, gravity is like when you jump you come down.
what I found challenging was setting the rocket to blast off and also what I found challenging was when you had to push down the pump.My favourite part was when we get to launch the rocket of course.
Here is a video of my group mad scientist launching our rocket. hope you like it

Waka description
Talofa lava bloggers,
Paterson class has learnt about the wayfinding navigation.
Wayfinding Navigation is like you use birds, sea creatures, sun, moon, stars and floating debris.
Our waka hourua has sails made out of flax.
Our waka hourua has all types of designs, like v shaped hulls.
Our waka has a hut in the center of the beam and has enough space to fit all of us.
My job on the waka is being a teacher, this is my job I teach people if they don't know anything.
Bye see you next time and hope you will like it ;)

way finding navigation
Kia ora bloggers!
Today I am going to teach you an amazing millennial knowledge of my Polynesian ancestors: way finding navigation is a Polynesian technique for sailing. They used the stars(star compass), using the waves or the wind, looking at the position of the sun and moon, observing the floating debris and the birds. How to find stars without instrument'sin the sky the navigators memorise The star compass. They know the most important ones. They use their hands to find their way. Matariki is a constellation,a cluster a cluster of star is like a group of stars. Some people see 9,8,11,12,7 stars in the sky
